Explosion proof fan

Fans designed for use in explosive environments are suitable for operations where flammable or explosive materials are handled. The explosion-proof fans have an encapsulated electronic part, so there is no risk of sparking due to a short circuit or mechanical damage. The explosion-proof fans are available in many versions for walls and roofs and for both four-sided and circular ducts. All explosion-proof fans supplied by us have the appropriate tests and certificates for operation in the Ex environments.

HCBT Ex

HCBT Ex

HCBT EX fans are axial explosion-proof fans with fixed output "ex" and can be used for wall mounting. They are suitable for higher flow and low pressure loss of air flow. The HCBT EX fans are suitable for conveying air without mechanical particles that could cause impeller wear or imbalance. These fans are suitable for ZONE 1 according to EN 60079-14 / 7.98 (formerly SNV 2). They are not exposed to the weather. Fans should be in a covered and dry warehouse. The fans are manufactured in a quality system according to ISO 9001.

TCBT Ex

Fan TCBT Ex are axial explosion-proof fans in perform „ex“, suitable for mounting into circular duct. Fan TCBT Ex are suitable for space zone 1 by standard CSN EN 60079-14/7,98 (sooner SNV 2). Can not exposed to direct effects of the weather. Fans can be mounting in vertical or horizontal position. Fan can not controlled with transformator or electric speed control. For fans with variable angle setting of the blades, the manufacturer of this set angle can not be changed. Fans are produced in a quality system to ISO 9001.

 

AW Ex

The AW Ex wall fans are designed for potentially explosive environments. The AW Ex explosion-proof axial fans are equipped with the special Ex external rotor motors. The plate and blades are made of galvanized sheet steel. The surface of the fans and blades is finished with black powder paint. The speed can be controlled by a 5-speed transformer or by a 2-speed switch.

The KTEX duct fan is designed for potentially explosive environments. The KTEX fans are equipped with the special Ex motors and with an impeller with forward curved blades. The fan housing is made of galvanized sheet steel and the inlet is made of brass. The fan is connected to the ductwork using the DS-EX flexible couplings. The speed can be controlled by a 5-speed transformer.

The DVEX explosion-proof roof fans are equipped with the special Ex motor and with an impeller with backward curved blades. The fan housing is made of aluminium, the base frame and the protective inlet screen are made of galvanized sheet with powder coating. The inlet of the explosion-proof fans is made of copper. The speed can be controlled by a five-speed transformer.

The DVV-EX explosion-proof roof fans are designed for extracting air from potentially explosive atmospheres (mixtures of explosive gases and vapours). The DVV-EX have impellers with backward-curved blades and IEC explosion-proof motors with the EEx d explosion protection (pressure-proof enclosure). The fans are suitable for zones 1 or 2, group II, for gases of groups A and B and for temperature classes T1 to T4. The fans are classified in the category 2G. Fan housing with a 50 mm layer of acoustic insulation can be available on request.

The EX fans are designed for use in explosive environments. The EX 140/180 explosion-proof fans can be installed in any position. The fans are connected to the ducting by means of IS/US couplings. These fans are equipped with special Ex motors and aluminum impellers with forward curved blades. The housing is a cast of silumin. The FKX brackets (2 pieces per fan) are designed for its mounting. Single-phase motors have a capacitor mounted in a sand bed.

RQ Ex

Explosion-proof, fully controllable, low-pressure, RQ-type radial fans in the Ex version can be used universally, from simple ventilation to complex air-conditioning systems, for complex air treatment. Due to the special design preventing the occurrence of mechanical sparks according to EN 13463-1, EN 13463-5 and the secured „e“ version of the electric motor according to EN 50014, the fans are intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.

The AXC-EX explosion-proof medium-pressure axial fans are available in diameters from 355 to 900 mm. The adjustable blade angle allows the fan to be projected exactly according to individual customer requirements. Stock fan types are designed to achieve maximum air performance for a given motor power. The AXC-EX fans can be used in zones 1 or 2, explosive group II, for gases from groups A, B and C and in temperature classes T1 to T4. The fans are classified in the category 2G. They are certified under the certification number Sira 07ATEX6341X. As standard, the fans are equipped with KL thermistors, which must be connected to the corresponding protective relay. The motor speed can be controlled by a frequency converter.

The AXCBF-EX axial medium-pressure explosion-proof fans are designed for installation in circular ducts, for HVAC applications, where the long life of their motors is applied and in environments with a risk of explosion. The fans are designed to be used at temperatures from -20 to 60 °C. The fans are supplied as standard in sizes 450 - 1400 mm. The MAXvent fans have corrosion-free and light blades. During the development of these fans, the emphasis was on achieving high fan output and reducing operating costs.

Thanks to the bionic blade design, the MAXvent owlet fans have low operating costs and low noise level. The fans achieve high output due to a very powerful internal motor.

The impeller is made of the composite material ZAmid ATEX. The fan housing is made of hot-dip galvanized steel. The MAXvent owlet fans are very flexible medium pressure axial fans for explosive atmospheres.
