Filters
Filters are made of modern filter materials, which achieve high retention capacity of dust particles up to the standard pressure loss. The high retention capacity extends filter life and economy of HVAC equipment operation. The maximum utilization of the filtering surface is ensured by spacers in the individual filter pockets. Depending on the type of filter, the filter material is standardly embedded in a high-strength plastic or metal frame with wooden or metal separators or in other materials according to customer's requirements.
Pocket filters
Pocket filters are made of modern filter materials, which achieve high retention capacity of dust particles up to standard pressure loss. High retention capacity prolongs filter lifetime and increases operation economy. The maximum utilization of the filter surface is ensured by spacers in the individual filter pockets. The filter material of the pocket filter is standardly embedded in a high-strength plastic or metal frame with wooden or metal separators. Filtration classes: G3, G4, M5, F7, F9 and others.
Compact filters
Compact filters are filters for microparticle filtration with filtration classes M6 - H13 and efficiency up to 99,98%. The filters are designed for high air flow volumes as with the standard dimensions of pocket filters and are designed as final filters or pre-filters in air conditioning and ventilation units. They are also designed for gas turbines, compressors, air-conditioning equipment of power plants, etc. The filters can be placed in standard frames of ventilation and air-conditioning units with high demands on cleanness.
Panel filters
- filter class G4 - F8 according to EN 779
- high performance in relation to price, non-standard dimensions according to customer's requirements
- large filtration area formed by V-shaped folds reinforced with Al grid with 98% free area
- low weight, small installation depth, small transport volume
DESCRIPTION OF PANEL FILTERS
The panel filters are made of filter material that is pleated, impregnated and reinforced with an Al grid with 98% free surface area. The optimally spaced filter material folds are fixed and sealed in a rigid cardboard frame with the HOT-MELT system. For higher airflow rates, the filter is reinforced on the outlet side with reinforcement.
VARIANTS OF PANEL FILTERS
We supply dimensions according to customer requirements. The filters are available in: high strength plastic frame and metal reinforcements, metal frame and metal reinforcements or cardboard frame. Filter materials from G4 to F8.
PANEL FILTER APPLICATION OPTIONS
Typically, the filters are used to capture and retain coarse dust particles (filtration class G4) and extend the life of secondary filters or to capture and retain fine dust particles (filtration class F5-F8) in most air conditioning units. For higher humidity we recommend the use of a high strength plastic frame.
FILTER REPLACEMENT AND DISPOSAL
The recommended final pressure drop is 200 - 300 Pa. To save energy costs, the final pressure drop should not be exceeded. It is recommended to dispose of used filters by pyrolysis in incinerators or landfill, metal parts are used for secondary processing.
Grease filters
Grease filters are used to trap fat and oil vapours and odours produced during the cooking of food. Oil and grease aerosols do not penetrate the ductwork, thus increasing the life of the HVAC components. Fat filters are also suitable for capturing the coarsest dust particles in laboratories and light and heavy industry.
Sepa Paint filters
- Filter for catching paint, silicone, polyurethane, adhesives, resins splashes
- long service life and high efficiency in relation to the price of the filter
- easy installation, the filter is resistant to mechanical damage
- low weight, small installation depth, small transport volume
Description of SEPA PAINT filters
The SEPA PAINT filter for droplet trapping in multi-stage filtration systems in paint shops and spray booths is made of two folded cartons with holes. The holes in the front are not in axis with the holes in the rear part and so the air changes direction and velocity completely as it passes through the folded filter and the particles are trapped in the rear part in a slightly open cardboard fold. Splash droplets are also trapped already on the front of the filter (Venturi effect).
Variants of SEPA PAINT filters
Available in widths of 0.75 m, 0.9 m and 1 m. Pack of 10 standard metres in a carton.
Applications for SEPA PAINT filters
The filters are used to separate paint overspray or other materials in industrial spray booths and boxes. Usually as a first stage of filtration.
Replacement and disposal of filters
They require no maintenance once fitted to the filtration equipment and should not exceed the final pressure drop for reasons of energy cost savings and the operation of extraction when spraying materials. The filters can be disposed of in incinerators or landfill.
KS KOPA
The KS KOPA activated carbon adsorption filters consist of a placement frame and adsorption cartridges filled with activated carbon. The KS KOPA activated carbon filters can be combined with mechanical particle removal filters for various applications. The advantage of activated carbon filters is the ability to regenerate and thus reduce the cost of use.
The KS KOPA adsorption filters are designed for adsorption of kerosene in airport halls, pollutants from power supply, exhausts from paint shops, welding shops, removal of odours from kitchens and grills, nuclear power industry and capture of exhaust gases, odours from cleaning agents, disinfectants, adhesives, paints, varnishes, etc.
Adsorption and separation of pollutants such as organics, styrene, acetates, benzine, diesel fumes, acid gases, ammonia and other odours from meat production, hospital odours, etc.
For high airflow volumes cartridges KS KOPA BIG are used.
