Anti-fire components are part of the fire protection of buildings. The main goal of these products is to prevent fire and fumes from spreading in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Parts of this assortment are fire dampers, shutters and valves.

KSO-F

KSO-F

The fire damper valve KSO-F is made from galvanized steel sheet equipped with white color RAL 9010. Fire damper valve has seailing from foam product, regulation disc allows easily air flow regulation and fix of position via contra nut. The valve is supplied with mounting ring KKT also made of galvanized sheet steel. Suitable for horizontal ventilation pipeline. KSO-F is intended for use as a fire closure of ventilation systems.
Resistance of this ventilation device KSO-F was tested according to EN 13501-3 authorized testing and fire resistance classification cap fitted in the wall construction is E120.

PKI-C

The fire cartridge damper PKI-C is a fire shutter in the round ventilation duct with the fire resistance classes EI60S, EI90S and EI120S. The fire damper PKI-C is composed of a galvanized steel sheet, calcium silicate plate, anti-fire graphite laminate, polyurethane foam, ethylene-propylene rubber, copper sheet metal, low-melting solder in a fail-safe device (Sn-, Bi- or Pb-based) and of a surface powder paint.

The fire four-sided damper PKI-S is a fire shutter component in the ventilation duct. The blade of the fire damper closes up the four-sided ventilation duct based on a mechanical, thermal or electric signal and therefore stops fire, heat and fumes from spreading. The fire dampers are certified in compliance with EN 15650, tested in compliance with EN 1366-2 and classified in compliance with EN 13501-3. The housing and the auxiliary constructions of the fire damper are made of galvanized steel sheet. The construction and the housing can be made-to-order from stainless steel sheet A316L or A304.

The blade of the fire damper PKI-S is composed of calcium silicate asbestos-free plates and is placed in a protective frame of the damper. The passive tightness of the fire damper stopping fumes from spreading is provided by a gum elastic gasket. The active tightness stopping fumes and heat from spreading during fire is provided by the anti-fire gasket Intumex. In order to set the damper in the position „CLOSED“, the dampers are equipped with a release mechanism „Manual“ - basic implementation with a fuse, alternatively with an electromagnet or with a servo drive. The panel of the release mechanism of all the fire dampers is removable and also interchangeable with a differently equipped panel, e.g. with a servo drive mechanism instead of the manual control mechanism etc. All the fire dampers are equipped with at least one inspection opening.

Manual release mechanism

ZV standard equipment of the fire damper (standard model) is equipped with a manual mechanism with a release spring. The spring is released after disengaging of the fuse as the temperature reaches 72 - 74°C (can be 100°C on request). The damper closes up within 10 sec after disengaging of the fuse.

Servo drive release mechanism

The fire damper DV7-T or G7-T with the servo drive Belimo (DV) or Gruner (G) 230 V (AC) equipped with a spring and with a thermoelectric release sensor. As a part of the servo drive there are auxiliary switches signalling the position of the damper blade*.

As a part of the servo drive there are auxiliary switches signalling the position of the damper blade*.

The damper is equipped with cables for the connection with the communication unit. As a part of the servo drive there are auxiliary switches signalling the position of the damper blade*.

The fire damper DV9-T-SR or G9-T-SR with the servo drive Belimo (DV) or (G) Gruner 24 V (AC/DC) equipped with a spring, with a control 0-10V and with a thermoelectric release sensor. As a part of the servo drive there are auxiliary switches signalling the position of the damper blade*. This type of the release mechanism is available for the dampers with DN ≥ 160 mm or H ≥ 160 mm only *) The servo drive closes the damper within 20 sec as the power circuit gets interrupted.

The fire round damper PKI-R is a fire shutter in the ventilation duct. The blade of the damper closes up the ventilation duct based on a mechanical, thermal or electric impulse and therefore stops fire, heat and fumes from spreading. The fire damper is certified in compliance with EN 15650, tested in compliance with EN 1366-2 and classified in compliance with EN 13501-3.

The housing of the fire damper and of the auxiliary construction is made of galvanized steel sheet. The construction and the housing can be made-to-order from stainless steel sheet A316L or A304.

The fire round damper with the release mechanism

FGS

FGS

The anti-fire ventilation grid FGS is intended to divide fire sections and to prevent toxic gases, fume and flames from spreading. The anti-fire ventilation grid FGS is a component of the passive fire protection. The grid FGS is tested in compliance with EN 1364-1, ETAG 026 part 4 and PREN 1364-5:2014 and classified in compliance with EN 13501-2:2017.

The anti-fire ventilation grids FGS are intended for a fixed placing into the fire barrier construction with no attachment to onward ventilation duct. The anti-fire ventilation grids FGS are available with the manual control or with the servo drive.

The manually controlled anti-fire grids FGS

The release mechanism of the anti-fire grid FGS is activated if the ambient temperature reaches 74°C. In case of fire the grid automatically closes up within 10 sec after melting of the thermal cutoff. Once the grid is closed, the blades stay blocked in the closed position and can be opened only manually. Anti-fire grids equipped with microswitches can be also made-to-order.

The anti-fire grids FGS with the servo drive

The anti-fire grids FGS with the servo drive are standardly equipped with a thermo-electric cutoff activating the closure of the blades as the ambient temperature reaches 72°C. The temperature interrupts the servo drive power circuit and a spring closes the blades within 20 sec. All the grids controlled by the servo drive are equipped with microswitches signalling the blade position. Made-to-order, grids with a power supply and communication unit can be also available (activation mechanism DV9-T-ST). The ventilation grid FGS is equipped with a spring servo drive closing up the grid after a command from the BMS (EPS) system or after melting of the thermo-electric cutoff.
