FK2-EU

FK2-EU

Four-sided fire damper for closing duct passages between fire compartments, for different installation types, available in many sizes and designs. The FK2-EU fire dampers are available in sizes: 200×100 - 1 500×800 mm, in 1 mm increments. Low pressure drop and sound power level with versatile installation options. Integration into the central building management system using TROXNETCOM. Fire resistance class up to EI 120 (ve, ho, i ↔ o) S.

This damper replaces the previous types of fire dampers FKA-EU and FKS-EU. The new damper model brings many innovations over previous models.

FK2-EU fire damper options and accessories: Electric servo-drive 24V / 230V. Starting temperature 72/95 °C or smoke detectors.

The fire damper in accordance with European standard EN 15650 in square or four-sided design, with two large inspection openings that can be opened without tools. Tested for fire performance according to EN 1366-2 (suction 300 Pa and 500 Pa), with CE marking.

FDMA

FDMA

The FDMA fire dampers are closures in HVAC systems that prevent the spread of fire and combustion products from one fire compartment to another. The damper blade automatically closes the air duct by means of a spring or a servo drive. The closing spring is actuated by releasing the trigger lever. The impulse to release the trigger lever can be manual, thermal or by means of an electromagnet. The return spring of the servo drive is activated when the BAT thermoelectric starter is activated. After closing the blade, the damper is sealed against the passage of smoke with a silicone seal. At the same time, the damper blade is embedded in a mass, which increases its volume due to the increasing temperature and closes the air duct airtight.

Faultless operation of the dampers is ensured under the following conditions:
a) maximum air flow speed of 12 m/s
    maximum pressure difference of 1200 Pa
b) even distribution of the air flow in the entire cross-section of the damper.

The operation of the dampers does not depend on the direction of air flow. The dampers can be mounted in any position.
The dampers are designed for air mass without abrasive, chemical and adhesive additives.

The return spring of the servo drive is activated when the BAT thermoelectric starter is activated. After closing the blade, the damper is sealed against the passage of smoke with a silicone seal. At the same time, the damper blade is embedded in a mass, which increases its volume due to the increasing temperature and closes the air duct airtight.

The FDMR fire dampers are HVAC devices that prevent the spread of fire and combustion products from one fire compartment to another. The FDMR fire damper blade automatically closes the air passage by means of a closing spring or a servo-drive. After closing the blade, the damper is sealed against the passage of smoke by a silicone seal. Upon customer request, silicone-free gaskets are available.

The FDMR fire dampers replace PKTM III, FDMD, PKTM 90 and PKTM90PM dampers.

KSO-F

The fire damper valve KSO-F is made from galvanized steel sheet equipped with white color RAL 9010. Fire damper valve has seailing from foam product, regulation disc allows easily air flow regulation and fix of position via contra nut. The valve is supplied with mounting ring KKT also made of galvanized sheet steel. Suitable for horizontal ventilation pipeline. KSO-F is intended for use as a fire closure of ventilation systems.
Resistance of this ventilation device KSO-F was tested according to EN 13501-3 authorized testing and fire resistance classification cap fitted in the wall construction is E120.

 

SC / SCV

SC / SCV

The SC dampers are fire shutters designed for installation directly into circular ducts. The SCV are fire dampers with disc valves designed for circular ducts and suitable for both air inlet and outlet. The fire dampers have a thermal fuse that melts and closes the damper when the temperature exceeds 72 °C. The fire resistance of the barrier is at least EI60S/90/120 (depending on the wall construction and installation method). The fuse is replaceable and can be ordered separately.

 

BX-1H

BX-1H

The BX-1H circular fire disc valves are designed for installation in vertical fire partitions or at the beginning of ducting routes. The regulating disc allows the air flow regulation and the locking is provided by a lock nut. In case of a fire, when the temperature exceeds 72 °C, the BX-1H valve closes and separates adjacent fire compartments. The BX-1H fire valve is classified according to ČSN EN 13501-3+A1:2010 as El 60 S. The design of the valve complies with ČSN EN 15650:2010. A 35 mm long sleeve (mounting ring) is standardly included (67, 120 or 150 mm long sleeves are available on request).

The CFDM fire dampers are closures in HVAC ducts that prevent the spread of fire and combustion products. The CFDM dampers are designed for circular ducts, to be installed in any position in a transition from one fire compartment to another. The dampers close after the thermal fuse has melted.

PKI-C

PKI-C

The fire cartridge damper PKI-C is a fire shutter in the round ventilation duct with the fire resistance classes EI60S, EI90S and EI120S. The fire damper PKI-C is composed of a galvanized steel sheet, calcium silicate plate, anti-fire graphite laminate, polyurethane foam, ethylene-propylene rubber, copper sheet metal, low-melting solder in a fail-safe device (Sn-, Bi- or Pb-based) and of a surface powder paint.

 

PKI-S

PKI-S

The PKI-S four-sided fire damper is a fire shutter in HVAC ducts. The damper blade closes the HVAC square duct on the basis of a mechanical, thermal or electric signal and therefore prevents fire, heat and smoke from spreading. The fire dampers are certified in compliance with EN 15650, tested in compliance with EN 1366-2 and classified in compliance with EN 13501-3. The fire damper housing and auxiliary structures are made of galvanized steel sheet. On request, it is possible to deliver a construction and housing made of stainless steel sheet A316L or A304.

The PKI-S fire damper blade consists of calcium silicate asbestos-free plates and is placed in a protective frame. The passive tightness of the fire damper against smoke transmission is ensured by a rubber seal. The active tightness against smoke and heat transmission during fire is ensured by the Intumex fire seal. To put the damper into the „CLOSED“ position, the damper is equipped with a „Manual“ release mechanism - basic design with a fuse, alternatively with an electromagnet or with a servo drive. The panel with the release mechanism of all fire dampers is removable and at the same time interchangeable with a differently equipped panel, e.g. instead of the manual control mechanism with a servo drive mechanism etc. All fire dampers are equipped with at least one inspection opening.

Manual release mechanism

  • ZV - The basic equipment of the fire damper (standard model) is a manual mechanism with a trigger spring. The spring is released when the fuse is disconnected as the temperature reaches 72 - 74°C (100°C on request). The damper closes within 10 s after the fuse has been disconnected.
  • DV1-2 ZV + two limit switches signalling the damper position „OPEN“ and „CLOSED“, 24 V (AC/DC) / 230 V (AC).
  • DV5-2 ZV + pulse electromagnetic release mechanism 24 V (AC) + two limit switches signalling the damper position „OPEN“ and „CLOSED“. The damper closes when the electric pulse gets in the electromagnet and it gets energized.
  • DV6-2 ZV + pulse electromagnetic release mechanism 230 V (AC) + two limit switches signalling the damper position „OPEN“ and „CLOSED“. The damper closes when the electric pulse gets in the electromagnet and it gets energized.

Servo drive release mechanism

  • • The DV7-T or G7-T fire damper with the servo drive Belimo (DV) or Gruner (G) 230 V (AC) equipped with a spring and with a thermoelectric release sensor. The servo-drive includes auxiliary switches with damper blade position indication*.
    • The DV9-T or G9-T fire damper with the servo drive Belimo (DV) or (G) Gruner 24 V (AC/DC) equipped with a spring and with a thermoelectric release sensor. The servo-drive includes auxiliary switches with damper blade position indication*.
    • The DV9-T-ST or G9-T-ST fire damper with the servo drive Belimo (DV) or Gruner (G) 24 V (AC/DC) equipped with a spring, with a thermoelectric release sensor and with the communication unit Belimo BKN230-24 or Gruner fs-UFC24-2 (other communication units on request). The servo-drive includes auxiliary switches with damper blade position indication*.
    • The DV9-T-W or G9-T-W fire damper with the servo drive Belimo (DV) or (G) Gruner 24 V (AC/DC) equipped with a spring and with a thermoelectric release sensor. The damper is equipped with cables for connection with the communication unit. The servo-drive includes auxiliary switches with damper blade position indication*.
    • The DV9-T-SR or G9-T-SR fire damper with the servo drive Belimo (DV) or (G) Gruner 24 V (AC/DC) equipped with a spring, control 0-10V and with a thermoelectric release sensor. The servo-drive includes auxiliary switches with damper blade position indication*. This type of release mechanism is only available for dampers with DN ≥ 160 mm or H ≥ 160 mm. *) The power supply circuit is interrupted and the servo drive closes the damper within 20 s.

The PKI-R circular fire damper is a fire shutter of HVAC ducts. The damper blade closes the HVAC duct on the basis of a mechanical, thermal or electric impulse and therefore prevents fire, heat and smoke from spreading. The fire damper is certified in compliance with EN 15650, tested in compliance with EN 1366-2 and classified in compliance with EN 13501-3.

The fire damper housing and auxiliary structures are made of galvanized steel sheet. On request, it is possible to deliver the construction and housing made of stainless steel sheet A316L or A304.

Circular fire damper with release mechanism

FGS

FGS

The FGS anti-fire ventilation grid is designed to divide fire sections and to prevent toxic gases, fume and flames from spreading. The FGS anti-fire ventilation grid is an element of the passive fire protection. The FGS grid is tested in compliance with EN 1364-1, ETAG 026 part 4 and PREN 1364-5:2014 and classified in compliance with EN 13501-2:2017.

The FGS anti-fire ventilation grids are designed for fixed installation in a fire separation construction with no connection to a follow-up HVAC duct. The FGS anti-fire ventilation grids are available with manual control or with a servo drive.

The manually controlled anti-fire grids

The FGS anti-fire grid release mechanism is activated when the ambient air temperature reaches 74°C. In case of fire, the grid automatically closes within 10 s after melting of the thermal fuse. When the grid is closed, the blades remain locked in the closed position and can only be opened manually. Anti-fire grids equipped with microswitches are available on request.

The anti-fire grids with the servo drive

The FGS anti-fire grids with the servo drive are standardly equipped with a thermo-electric fuse, which activates the closure of the blades when the ambient temperature reaches or exceeds 72 °C. The power supply circuit is interrupted and the spring closes the blades within 20 s. All servo drive-operated grids are equipped with microswitches signalling the blade position. Grids with power supply and with a communication unit can be available on request (activation mechanism DV9-T-ST). The FGS ventilation grid is equipped with a spring-actuated servo drive that closes the anti-fire grid on the basis of a command from the BMS (EPS) system or when the thermo-electric fuse has melted.
