RP Ex

The RP Ex explosion-proof centrifugal fans are designed for use in simple ventilation applications up to complex air conditioning systems. The RP Ex four-sided fans for explosive environments are suitable for indoor and outdoor use with a temperature of the transported air of -20 to + 40 °C. The impeller of the RP Ex fans has forward-curved blades which are made of galvanized sheet steel. The fans have asynchronous three-phase motors with an external rotor and squirrel-cage. Motor protection is provided by thermistors which are housed in the winding of the electric motor. The thermistors must be connected to a thermistor relay which, when the temperature reaches 130 °C, opens the control circuit of the protective contactor.
