Description

Motor	AC 3x400V/230V 50Hz (Y/D): flanged asynchronous IEC motor with squirrel-cage. The terminal block is located on the motor body. The electric motors are located out of the air flow and are thus protected against direct contact with the flowing air. Motor cooling provided by an internal duct system. Motor ingress protection IP 55. Thermal protection of the motor is performed by a thermal contact led into the cable, for details see chapter Electric motor protection. The motor insulation system corresponds to insulation temperature class F with heating class B. The temperature insulation class is specified by the motor manufacturer and is indicated on the motor rating plate.
Terminal block	The electrical installation is terminated by a terminal block with ingress protection IP54. The single-phase electric motors are equipped with a potted starting capacitor mounted next to the terminal block.
Installation	The fan may transport air without solid, fibrous, sticky, aggressive and explosive admixtures. The air must not contain chemicals that cause corrosion or decompose zinc, aluminium or plastics. The maximum permissible transported air temperature must not exceed +40 °C (for the three-phase fans), or +60 °C (for the single-phase fans). The RF fans can only be operated, transported and stored in the basic horizontal position (suction from below). The device can be used without additional measures in normal areas (IEC 60364-5-51, or ČSN 332000-5-51 ed.2, ČSN 332000-3) with extension to outdoor areas and areas not protected from atmospheric influences with a temperature range of -30 to +40 °C.
