MUB-Ex 062 560D6 is a non-explosive noise isolated radial fan designed for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The housing of the centrifugal Ex fan is made of an aluminium frame and galvanized sheet metal side panels, which are covered with mineral wool 30 mm thick. The radial impeller with backward curved blades is powder coated black. The noise-insulated MUB EX radial fan is suitable for zone II 2G EX h IIB+H2 T3 Gb, ATEX 2014/34/EU.

Description

Housing	The casing of the MUB-Ex noise-insulated centrifugal fan for explosive atmospheres is made of an aluminium frame and side panels, which are made of galvanised sheet metal and coated with 30 mm thick mineral wool.
Impeller	The impeller of the MUB-EX fan is radial with backward curved blades, which are powder coated.
Motor	The centrifugal fan motor is equipped with a thermistor which must be connected to the corresponding thermal protection relay. The MUB-EX centrifugal fan is equipped with an asynchronous motor with external rotor.
Installation	The MUB-EX fan can be installed in any position in indoor or outdoor environments.
Speed control	The fan speed can be controlled by changing the voltage using a 5 stage transformer. The speed control must be located outside of explosion hazardous environments.
