The motor protection relay U-EK 230E is designed to protect fans in Ex version for explosive environments. The thermistor motor protection is also used for fans with thermocouples outside the terminal block, e.g. for AXC medium pressure fans, DVV roof fans or fire fans and many other types. The U-EK 230E protective relay is equipped with a built-in reset button, signal LEDs, external restart terminals and automatic restart after power interruption.

Description

	The thermistor motor protector is designed for DIN rail mounting, but a wall mount housing is available upon request. The protective function of the relay is guaranteed if the wiring according to electric diagram. For Ex fans, speed control is possible with the RTRD 5-st transformer controller only in conjunction with the U-EK230E protective relay.
