The KVK Silent 160 EC centrifugal sound-insulated duct fan is suitable for HVAC applications where its low noise level and low power consumption can preferably be applied. Impeller with backward curved blades and housing equipped with dense mineral wool for acoustic and thermal insulation. Voltage adjustable external rotor motor.

Description

Housing	The housing is made of aluzinc and is equipped with 40 mm insulation of mineral wool with high density. For easier maintenance, the motor and impeller are located on a hinged access door.
Impeller	The radial impeller with backward curved blades is located on the access door.
Motor	Low energy EC motor with integrated overheat protection and built-in potentiometer.
Terminal block	The terminal block is located on the fan housing.
Installation	Mounting is possible in any position of the fan with regard to inspection activities.
Speed control	Speed control is performed by a thyristor or a five-stage transformer.
