Housing The housing is made of galvanized sheet steel. On the suction side, the housing is equipped with a protective grille and with a grille and a gravity louvre on the discharge side. Impeller The impeller is made of sheet steel and is statically and dynamically balanced. The impeller is driven by a belt from the motor. the housing contains a mechanism for tightening it. Motor The single-phase fan motor is asynchronous with squirrel cage. It is equipped with thermal protection of the winding. Rating IP55, insulation class F. Speed control The speed control is not possible. Terminal block The terminal block is located on the motor. Noise level The noise emitted is shown in table main technical parameters. The measurement is made at a distance equal to three times the diameter of the impeller on the suction side.
Installation The fan mounting is possible only with the motor axis horizontally. The compact design of the housing, including the suction grille and the exhaust louver, predetermines the fan to be mounted in the walls of buildings. The housing must not transmit mechanical stresses from building structures. The louver on the discharge is not sufficient protection against injury by rotating parts. If the lower edge of the fan is less than 2,5 m above the ground or it is otherwise possible to reach the fan, an additional protective grille must be installed to cover the louvre.
