The DVV-EX DVV-EX 1000D8-XL explosion-proof centrifugal roof fan is designed for extracting air from potentially explosive atmospheres in large areas. Housing of the DVV-EX explosion-proof roof fan is made of aluminium with a base plate made of galvanized steel.

Description

Housing	The explosion-proof roof fan housing is made of aluminium with a galvanized steel base plate and a copper inlet cone.
Impeller	The impeller is equipped with backward curved blades.
Motor	The fans are equipped with IEC motors with the EEx d explosion protection (pressure-proof enclosure).
Terminal block	The explosion-proof terminal block is located on the fan housing – “enhanced safety“ II 2G Ex e IIC T5/T6. Overheating protection is provided by built-in thermistor contacts connected to the terminal block of the fan. They must be connected to the U-EK 230E protective relay. Note: The U-EK 230E protective relay must be located outside the explosion zones!
Speed control	The speed is controlled by a frequency converter.
