The DV-EX 400D4 fan is equipped with a special Ex motor and with an impeller with backward curved blades. The inlet cone is made of copper. The delivery of the DVEX 315-500 fans includes a FTG tilting frame. For sizes 560 and 630, the tilting frame is available as an accessory. The fan is designed for II 2G - zone 1 (also includes II 3G zone 2). Use for zones 1 and 2 with temperature class T1, T2 and T3. Explosion protection Ex e IIB, εx II 2G (EN 60079-0, EN 60079-7, EN 1127-1, EN 13463-1).

Description

Housing	The fan housing is made of aluminium, the base frame and the protective inlet guard are made of galvanized sheet metal with powder coating.
Terminal block	Overheating protection is provided by built-in thermistor contacts connected to the terminal block of the fan. They must be connected to the U-EK 230E protective relay.
Speed control	The speed can be controlled by a five-speed transformer.
