The four-sided water-heating batteries have a two-row, three-row or four-row heat exchanger. The VBR batteries for four-sided ducts are equipped with a drain and vent valve. The heater housing is made of zinc aluminium and the heating rods are made of copper with aluminium fins.

The VBF water-heating batteries with a pocket filter class F5 are designed for circular ducts with a maximum operating temperature of 100 °C at a pressure of 16 bar. The filter cassette of the VBF battery is equipped with hoses for connecting a pressure sensor and measuring the pressure drop (clogging) of the filter. The VBF batteries are equipped with an access door for easy maintenance and filter replacement. The battery housing is made of galvanized steel with copper heating tubes with aluminium fins.
