The AW 550 D6-2-EX fan is equipped with the special Ex external rotor motor. The plate and blades are made of galvanized sheet steel. The surface of the fan and blades is finished with black powder paint. The speed can be controlled by a 5-speed transformer or by a 2-speed switch. Overheating protection is provided by built-in thermistor contacts connected to the terminal block of the fan. They must be connected to the U-EK 230E protective relay.

- use for zones 1 and 2 with temperature classes T1, T2 and T3, sizes 355 and 420 also with temperature class T4
- installation in any position
