Housing The fan housing is made of galvanized steel sheet provided with grey epoxy varnish. Impeller The fan impeller is cast entirely of aluminum alloy, statically and dynamically balanced. The impeller has a red epoxy lacquer finish. Motor The asynchronous squirrel-cage motor is located out of the air flow and is cooled by the fan, which is a structural part of it. It is equipped with ball bearings. Insulation class B, ingress protection IP55. Speed control Speed control is possible without additional measures at a transported air temperature and ambient temperature of up to 40 °C. The fan and the drive system have their own cooling depending on the motor speed. Reducing the speed can, under certain circumstances, reduces the resistance of the bearings and the grease filling of the moving parts of the fan. Terminal block The terminal block is part of the motor. Noise level The noise emitted by the fan is measured at a distance of 1.5 m. Installation The installation of the fan is recommended with regard to the service life of the bearings in a horizontal position, with the motor ventilation shaft vertical to ensure sufficient motor cooling. If forced ventilation of the motor shaft is provided, the installation can be in another position. Direction of rotation The direction of rotation is indicated by an arrow on the fan housing. - Additional Information
