Housing The base of the fan is made of galvanized plate, the suction ring is made of brass. The motor holders are made of stainless steel. The discharge grille, the roof and other metal parts are galvanized. The motor is located out of the air flow. The housing contains protection against birds. The air exhaust is horizontal. Impeller The impeller of the explosion-proof fan is radial with backward curved blades. The impeller is made of galvanized steel with an aluminium center. Operating temperature is from -20 to +40 °C. Motor The fan motor is asynchronous with squirrel-cage. The stator is equipped with cooling fins. The fan can be equipped with a 4, 6 or 8-pole motor. Ingress protection IP55, insulation class F. Terminal block The terminal block is located under the fan cover and is explosion-proof. Speed control As standard, it is not possible to control the fans electrically or electronically. On request, it is possible to supply motors with PTC thermal protection controlled by frequency converters. - Additional Information
