The SPM is a circular iris damper designed to control and measure the air flow and has higher throttling capacity thanks to a central foam rubber sealing element. The iris damper is made of galvanized sheet steel and is equipped with a rubber seal in the place of connection with the circular duct. The SPM iris damper has a low noise level, so there is no need for a silencer behind the controller. The iris damper can be used to control the air flow even when exhausted via diffusers.

Description

Installation	The SPM iris damper must be installed when influences are minimized that can reduce the accuracy of the control. If the duct diameter is changed, these influences do not require a specific safe minimum distance. The SPM iris damper can accurately measure the air flow at all points of the ductwork, including e.g. locations close to T-branches, bends or in front of other inlet elements.
