Installation The SPI iris damper must be installed to the ducts, so as to avoid a deviation from the ideal airflow trajectory. If the duct diameter is changed, these influences do not require a specific safe minimum distance. The SPI iris damper can accurately measure the air flow at all points of the ductwork, including e.g. locations close to T-branches, bends or in front of other inlet elements. Recommended minimum installation distance: elbow 1 x D, in front of a T-branch 3 x D, behind a T-branch 1 x D, in front of a distribution element 3 x D. - Additional Information
