The KVK 160 M centrifugal sound-insulated duct fan is suitable for HVAC applications where its low noise level can preferably be applied. Double inlet impeller. The fan housing has 50 mm thermal and acoustic insulation. The fan can be installed in any position. Due to the weight of the motor, installation with the tilting position downwards is not recommended.

Description

Housing	The fan housing is made of galvanized sheet steel and is equipped with 50 mm thermal and acoustic insulation. There is an access door on the housing for better maintenance and service.
Impeller	The radial single inlet impeller has forward curved blades.
Motor	The motor is equipped with built-in thermal contacts with manual restart, which must be connected to the corresponding thermal protection relay.
Terminal block	The terminal block is located on the fan housing.
Installation	Installation is possible in any position of the fan with regard to inspection activities. Due to the weight of the motor, installation with the tilting position downwards is not recommended.
Speed control	Speed control is performed continuously by a thyristor or a five-stage transformer.
