Housing The housing is made of galvanized sheet steel. To facilitate service and maintenance, the motor and impeller are mounted on a hinged access door. Installation The fan starts after connection to the ductwork for which it is intended, either with closed suction or discharge, so as not to overload the motor. After the start-up, the current must be checked, which must not exceed the nominal value (a higher value may signal, for example, an unregulated ductwork). The air flow direction is indicated on the casing by an arrow. The fan must be attached separately. It is connected to the ducts by means of a flange according to the connection dimension of the fan. We recommend using: a) the DS flexible connections - they prevent the transmission of vibrations to the ducts b) the LDR silencers - special silencers for duct fans reducing noise spreading to the suction and discharge when optimizing the air flow - they are mounted directly in front of and behind the fan. We do not recommend: Application of fittings or elements with higher resistance (e.g. water heaters) immediately on the suction, but especially on the fan discharge. Speed control The speed can be controlled by a transformer (by changing the voltage) or by a frequency converter with a sine filter for all poles. - Additional Information
