The IRAT/4-400 B silent centrifugal fan is equipped with a 50 mm thick noise insulation and is designed for installation in four-sided ducts. The IRAT insulated fan is due to the higher operating temperature of +70 °C suitable for ventilation of restaurants, hospitals, sports halls, warehouses, etc. The fan is equipped with a door on the casing for access to the motor and impeller to faciliate cleaning, service and inspection.

Description

Housing	The fan housing is made of galvanized sheet steel, equipped with 50mm acoustic insulation and flanges for mounting in four-sided ducts. The housing is equipped with an access door for easy cleaning, inspection and service, on which the impeller with the motor are placed.
Impeller	The radial impeller with backward curved blades is made of galvanized sheet steel and is statically and dynamically balanced.
Motor	The asynchronous squirrel-cage motor is equipped with a thermal fuse with a winding in a version with protection against humidity and has the class F insulation. The motor has greased-for-life ball bearings.
Direction of rotation	The direction of rotation is indicated by an arrow on the housing. The direction of rotation must be checked after connection. If the direction is opposite, the phase sequence must be changed.
Terminal block	The terminal block is made of black plastic, placed loosely on the supply cable from the motor.
Noise level	The noise emitted by the fan is shown in the tables. Values are measured in free field on the suction side at a distance of 1.5 m.
Installation	The mounting of the fan is possible in each position, with respect to the inspection activity, preferably with the motor axis vertically.
Speed control	Speed control is performed using frequency converters.
