After connection to supply voltage AC/DC 24V or AC 230V, the fire damper servo drive moves the damper blade to the "OPEN" operating position and at the same time pre-tightens its return spring. As long as the servo drive is energized, the damper blade is in the "OPEN" position and the return spring is pre-tightened. In the event of an interruption in the power supply to the servo drive (loss of supply voltage or by pressing the reset button on the BAT thermoelectric actuating mechanism), the return spring moves the damper blade to the emergency position "CLOSED". If the supply voltage is restored (the blade can be in any position), the servo drive starts moving the damper blade again to the "OPEN" position. The BAT thermoelectric actuating mechanism contains two thermal fuses Tf1 and Tf2. These fuses are activated when the temperature exceeds +72 °C (fuse Tf1 when the temperature around the damper is exceeded, Tf2 when the temperature inside the ventilation duct is exceeded). The thermoelectric actuating mechanism can also be equipped with a thermal fuse Tf2 type ZBAT95 - on request. The thermal fuse type ZBAT95 has a nominal actuating temperature inside the air duct of +95 °C. The signaling of the "OPEN" and "CLOSED" damper blade positions is ensured by two built-in fixed limit switches. The BAT thermoelectric actuating mechanism is on the supply cable from the servo drive and can be installed in the connected air duct. - Additional Information
