The FDML serves as a fire damper and is factory supplied with a grille on one side. The FDML 850x630 .51 B fire damper is equipped with a Belimo or Gruner servo drive (24V AC/DC) with MHG 231 optical smoke detector (24V AC/DC assembly voltage). In the event of the damper being affected by fire, the damper will be automatically closed, thus preventing the spread of fire and fumes in partition walls, structures, elevator and other shafts.
