The FDML serves as a fire damper and is factory supplied with a grille on one side. The FDML 315x450 .50 B fire damper is equipped with a Belimo or Gruner servo drive (24V AC/DC) with thermoelectric actuator. In the event of the damper being affected by fire, it will automatically close, thus preventing the spread of fire and fumes in partition walls, structures, elevator and other shafts.
