The FDML serves as a wall fire shutter and is fitted from the factory with two grilles lacquered in RAL 9010. The FDML 315x315 .40 fire shutter is equipped with a Belimo or Gruner actuator (230V AC) with thermoelectric initiation. If the damper is hit by fire, it will close automatically and thus prevent the spread of fire and fumes in partitions, structures, elevator and other shafts.
