The FDML serves as a fire damper and is factory supplied with a grille on one side only. The FDML 315x315 .40 B fire damper is equipped with a Belimo or Gruner (230V AC) actuator with thermoelectric activation device. In the event of the damper being affected by fire, the damper will automatically close, thus preventing the spread of fire and fumes in partition walls, structures, elevator and other shafts.
