The FDML serves as a fire damper and is factory supplied with a grille on one side only. The FDML 300x850 .41 B fire damper is equipped with a Belimo or Gruner servo drive (24V AC/DC) with MHG 231 optical smoke detector and BKN 230-24-MP power supply unit (230V AC assembly voltage). In the event of the damper being affected by fire, the damper is automatically closed, thus preventing the spread of fire and fumes in partition walls, structures, elevator and other shafts.
