The FDML serves as a fire damper and is factory supplied without grilles. The FDML 1000x700 .40 A fire damper is equipped with a Belimo or Gruner (230V AC) actuator with thermoelectric activation device. In the event of the damper being affected by fire, the damper will automatically close, thus preventing the spread of fire and fumes in partition walls, structures, elevator and other shafts.
