The DVV 560D4-XM/F400+REV roof fire fan is designed for ventilation in heat and smoke extraction mode as well as for classic ventilation. The fan can withstand temperatures of 120 °C in the long term and up to 400 °C for two hours (in the OTK mode). The DVV fan has an IE motor with built-in PTC thermistors. In the event of a fire and switching to the OTK mode, all protections and controllers must be bypassed. The DVV fan is equipped with a service switch.

Description

Housing	The fan housing is made of aluminium, the base plate of galvanized steel.
Impeller	The impeller with backward curved blades is made of stainless steel.
Motor	Highly efficient single-speed IE2 motor with integrated PTC thermistors. Motor supply voltage 400V, IP55 ingress protection, insulation class F.
Speed control	The fans can only be controlled by a frequency converter. The fans were tested together with the frequency converter at 400 °C for 120 min. The EMC protection is recommended when controlling with frequency converters. In the event of a fire and switching to the OTK mode, all protections and controllers must be bypassed.
Installation	The fan is to be installed on a roof in a horizontal position outside the fire zone. The fan must be placed on a roof of a heated building (with FSL accessories even on a roof of an unheated building).
