Housing The fan casing is made of highly durable aluminium. The base plate is made of galvanized steel sheet. The integrated anti-bird net is made of powder-coated galvanized steel. Impeller The impeller is radial with backward curved blades made of composite material. The profiled blades are highly efficient due to the 3D geometry used. Motor Asynchronous squirrel-cage motor with an external rotor mounted on anti-vibration feet that prevent the transmission of vibrations. Terminal block The fan has integrated thermal contacts leading to the motor terminal block, which must be connected to the corresponding protective relay (the protective relay is not included in the fan delivery). Noise level The sound pressure level is given at a distance of 4 m (free space). Installation The DVS centrifugal roof fan is started when connected to the ductwork for which it is designed, with the intake closed to prevent motor overload. After start-up, the current is checked and must not exceed the nominal value (a higher value may indicate, for example, an unregulated duct network). The airflow direction is indicated by an arrow on the casing. The fan must be separately mounted. - Additional Information
