The Doormaster air curtain creates an optically non-interfering aerodynamic barrier in order to prevent the free flow of air between the indoor and outdoor environment, eg at the entrance to a building. The second integral function of the curtain is to mix the remaining penetrating air with the air heated in the space of the curtain installation, which leads to a reduction of the negative feeling of cold flow. Properly designed, the curtain increases interior comfort while reducing the building's operating costs. The Doormaster air curtains are designed for indoor installation in a dry environment and for mounting in a horizontal position above the entrance. The curtain may be operated with air without coarse dust, grease, chemical fumes and other contaminants. The curtain is designed for normal environments classified (ČSN 33 2000-3; IEC 364-3/A1). Use in aggressive environments, outdoors, in humid environments with a risk of condensation or in potentially explosive atmospheres is prohibited! Versions with electric heating and versions without heating can be operated even at temperatures up to -5 °C (provided that the environment is maintained without condensation). The version with water heat exchanger (W) does not have frost protection and must be installed in a frost-free room (+5 to +40 °C). Otherwise, a sufficient supply of heating water must be ensured to prevent the medium from freezing in the exchanger. Installation The Doormaster C air curtain are designed to be Installed above an entrance door with the outlet slot closer to the door side, with the suction side facing the room. Place the air curtain as close to the wall as possible with the outlet slit and as close as possible above the upper edge of the door opening to prevent air from entering through an unwanted gap. The width of the curtain must at least correspond to the width of the door opening. Partial overlap on the sides improves efficiency. When designing the suspension, it is necessary to observe the minimum space for connecting media above the curtain (we recommend at least 150 mm), to ensure easy access to all service parts of the curtain (see below) and to keep the space for suction and exhaust of the curtain. The device must be placed at a safe distance from flammable materials according to the relevant legislation. Follow the instructions in the chapter "Use and operating conditions". - Additional Information
