The fan casing is made of highly durable aluminium. The base plate is made of galvanized steel sheet. The integrated bird guard is made of powder coated galvanized steel.
Impeller
The dynamically balanced impeller is radial with backward curved blades made of composite material. Profiled, highly efficient blades thanks to the 3D geometry used.
Motor
The motor is asynchronous with squirrel cage and external rotor mounted on anti-vibration feet to prevent vibration transmission. The motor is equipped with thermal contacts routed to the motor terminal block, which must be connected to the corresponding protective relay (protective relay not included in the fan delivery).
Speed control
The fan can be controlled by means of a frequency converter with a sine filter, a star/delta switch or a five-stage transformer.
Terminal block
The fan has integrated thermal contacts, which must be connected to a corresponding protective relay in the motor terminal block (the protective relay is not delivered as an accessory).
Noise level
The sound pressure level is indicated at a distance of 4 m (free space).
Installation
The fan is started after connection to the ductwork for which it is intended, with the intake closed to avoid overloading the motor. After starting, the current is checked and must not exceed the nominal value (a higher value may indicate, for example, an unregulated ductwork). The direction of airflow is indicated by an arrow on the casing. The fan must be separately mounted and can be installed at a maximum deviation of 15° from the horizontal.
