Housing The CTVT fan housing is designed for horizontal air discharge. The fan cowl and housing are made of AL sheet, the base is made of galvanized sheet steel. Impeller The fan impeller is radial with backward curved blades. The impeller is made of galvanized sheet metal and is statically and dynamically balanced. Motor The fan motor is asynchronous with squirrel cage, the stator has cooling fins. The motor is equipped with a thermal fuse as standard. The winding is tropicalized, with class F insulation and with a constant operating temperature of -40 to 120 °C. Speed control The fan speed is controlled by means of an electronic or transformer controller by changing the voltage or by means of frequency converters. Direction of rotation The direction of rotation of the fan is only possible in one direction with respect to the arrow on the fan housing. In the case of the opposite direction of rotation, the motor may be overloaded, making the fan noisier. Terminal block The terminal block is accessible after removing the fan cowl. For single-phase fans, it also includes a start capacitor. IP55 ingress protection. Noise level The noise emitted by fan is shown in tables. The values on the performance characteristics are measurement in free space on the suction side in distance 1,5 m.
Installation The fan is only mounted in horizontal position using accessories (with the motor axis vertical). - Additional Information
