Housing The fan consists of a galvanized steel base, galvanized metal screws, brackets and grille, roof and housing are made of aluminium. The CTHT roof fan is designed for horizontal air discharge. The ventilation gap is around the perimeter of the roof. Impeller The radial impeller with backward curved blades is made of galvanized sheet steel and is statically and dynamically balanced. Motor Asynchronous motor with squirrel-cage, stator with cooling fins. The motor is equipped with PTC thermistors and greased-for-life ball bearings. The winding is tropicalized with a constant operating temperature from -40 to 120 °C. Insulation class F, protection IP55. Speed control Speed control is performed by electronic or transformer controllers by voltage change or by frequency converters. Direction of rotation The direction of rotation is indicated by arrows on the fan housing. Reverse rotation may overload the motor and the fan will also have increased noise levels. Terminal block The terminal block is accessible after removing the fan roof. It is equipped with a starting capacitor (only 230V version). Noise level The noise emitted by the fan is given in the tables. The values on the fan characteristics are measured in a free field on the suction side at a distance of 1.5 m.
