Housing The fan housing is made of white impact-resistant plastic. The TDM fan housing is designed for insertion into a duct. To increase the pressure, the housing includes a diffuser with optimized fan blade shape. Impeller The fan impeller is axial, made of impact-resistant plastic. The impeller is secured on the shaft by a steel spring. Motor The TDM fan motor is asynchronous with squirrel-cage and shaded pole for continuous operation. The maximum operating ambient temperature is 40 °C. The motor has plain bearings. Double insulated design. The motor winding is protected by a cover against condensate going down. The motor has an overload protection. IP44 ingress protection. Terminal block The terminal block is accessible after unscrewing the front cover (with a cable gland) on the fan motor. The terminal block has a strain relief cable clamp. Noise level The noise emitted by the fan is measured at a distance of 1,5 m along the fan axis on the suction side. Installation The TDM fan can be installed horizontally or vertically. With respect to the bearing life, the installation is more preferable with the motor axis horizontally. - Additional Information
