The RDV 5 A transformer speed controller is designed for the control of asynchronous three-phase squirrel-cage motors. The RDV 5 A controller is equipped with a power 5-stage switch, controlled by a switch on the housing or remotely by a START STOP selectable switch. The toroidal transformers used have low power dissipation and are equipped with thermal protection of the windings by means of thermocontacts.

Description

	The RDV 5 A five-stage transformer speed controller is designed to control three-phase asynchronous squirrel-cage motors, which are recommended by the manufacturer. The toroidal transformers used have low power dissipation and are equipped with thermal protection of the windings by means of thermocontacts. The RDV controllers are available in three functional versions. Transformers, terminal blocks, relays and switches are housed in the casing. The manually operated controllers have a seven-position switch on the front panel (OFF, STAND-BY, 5 control stages).
