The RDV 1,2 C five-stage transformer speed controller is designed to control three-phase asynchronous squirrel-cage motors, which are recommended by the manufacturer. The toroidal transformers used have low power dissipation and are equipped with thermal protection of the windings by means of thermocontacts. The RDV controllers are available in three functional versions. Transformers, terminal blocks, relays and switches are housed in the casing. For the version with remote control, the controller is supplemented by five contactors that are interlocked. The remote control is provided by simple controls that allow Start, Stop of the fan, signal Standby and some allow speed adjustment.
