The PRF 250D4 IE3 acid-proof fan for aggressive environments is designed for extracting air with admixture of heavy corrosive gases and vapours or polluted air at temperatures from -15 to +70 °C. The acid-proof fan is suitable for extracting air from test rooms, laboratories and in the food or chemical industry where their high pressure drop is beneficial.

Description

Housing	The fan housing is made of heat-treated UV-resistant PE with the possibility of turning the air discharge direction as required. The fan includes a powder coated bracket made of galvanized sheet metal.
Impeller	The fan has a highly efficient single inlet radial impeller with shaped blades made of polypropylene.
Motor	The high-efficiency IE3 motor is equipped with thermal contacts and located outside the airflow. The motor protective contacts must be connected to the corresponding thermal relay.
Installation	Read the instructions carefully before mounting. The installation and connection of electrical components must always be carried out by a qualified electrician. Before connecting the fan to the power, make sure that people cannot come into contact with the impeller.
Speed control	The fan speed can only be controlled by a frequency converter.
