The MKW 500 water cooler is suitable for cooling air in HVAC distribution systems and is designed for installation in circular ducts. The MKW 500 water cooler is made of galvanized sheet metal, the fins for heat dissipation are made of aluminium, placed on copper pipes. The condensate drain pan is made of aluminium. The maximum operating pressure is 25 bar and the maximum air speed in the duct must not exceed 4 m/s. The air passing through the cooler must not contain solid, fibrous, sticky or aggressive admixtures. Furthermore, there must be no chemicals in the air that cause corrosion of the materials used, i.e. they damage aluminium, copper and zinc.

Description

Housing	The cooler housing is made of galvanized sheet metal, the condensate drain pan is made of aluminium and the heat sinks are made of aluminium on copper tubes.
Installation	The cooler can only be mounted in a horizontal position. An air filter must be installed in front of the cooler. The connection is performed by a transition coupling with a thread (not included in the delivery) or soldering (see table).
