The FDML serves as a wall fire shutter and is fitted from the factory with two grilles lacquered in RAL 9010. The FDML 280x300 .50 fire shutter is equipped with a }}Belimo or Gruner actuator (24V AC/DC) with thermoelectric initiation. If the damper is hit by fire, it will close automatically and thus prevent the spread of fire and fumes in partitions, structures, elevator and other shafts.
