Silencers
Silencers for circular and four-sided ducts effectively attenuate the noise travelling through the ductwork. If higher attenuation is required, it is possible to use more silencers one after another. For the highest attenuation, place the silencer immediately behind a fan or a bend.

MTS
MTS are silencers designed for circular ducts. The silencer casing is made of aluminium flexible hose, the inner part is made of perforated aluminium hose. The MTS silencers achieve significant noise attenuation and are very easy to install. Several silencers can be combined together to achieve extremely good noise attenuation. Excellent results can be achieved in conjunction with TD Mixvent fans. The pressure drop of the MTS silencers is considered to be four times the pressure drop of a smooth duct. Silencers with higher diameters can be supplied on request.
TAA / TAAC
The TAA / TAAC silencers are made of galvanized sheet metal in two versions - without core (TAA) and with core (TAAC). To achieve greater noise attenuation, it is possible to install more silencers in a row. The flanges of the TAA / TAAC silencers are identical to the flanges of the axial fans TXR, TCB and TGT.
SonoExtra
The SonoExtra flexible silencers are characterized by very good noise insulation and high flexibility. The SonoExtra silencers consist of a non-woven inner hose made of polypropylene, the silencer insulation is made of 25 mm layer of glass fibres and the outer surface is made of tear-resistant laminated aluminium/polyester. The inner hose is hydrophobic and antibacterial. The silencers are suitable for air distribution and air conditioning systems without special requirements. The silencers can be used in the temperature range of -30 to 140 °C, the maximum operating pressure is 2000 Pa and the maximum air speed is 10 m/s.
MAA
The MAA silencers are made of galvanized sheet metal. To achieve greater noise attenuation, it is possible to install more silencers in a row. The MAA silencers achieve very good attenuation in conjunction with the TD Mixvent fans.
IAA
The IAA four-sided silencers are designed for attenuating noise propagating through ducts in ventilation and air conditioning systems. The IAA silencers are 1000 mm long and are particularly suitable for the ILT / ILB fans and the DIRECT AIR assembly units for four-sided ducts. If higher attenuation is required, we recommend connecting several silencers in a row.
JAA
The JAA socle silencers are designed for installation together with roof fans and are only suitable for flat roofs. The JAA silencers for roof fans are equipped with synthetic rubber insulation.
SLU/SLXU
The SLU circular silencers are designed for noise attenuation in circular ducts of air conditioning and ventilation. Connection diameter 63 - 1120 mm. The attenuation material is mineral wool. We supply the SLU silencers with insulation of 50 mm or 100 mm and a length of 300 to 1500 mm. The connection sockets of the SLU silencers are equipped with a double-lipped EPDM rubber seal, which guarantees the tightness of ducts C and D. The maximum air speed is 20 m/s, the maximum operating overpressure is 2000 Pa and the underpressure is 1500 Pa.
The SLXU circular silencers are designed for noise attenuation in circular ducts of air conditioning and ventilation. Connection diameter 100 - 250 mm. The attenuation material is mineral wool. We supply the SLXU silencers with insulation of 50 mm and a length of 300 to 900 mm. The SLXU silencer connection sockets are equipped with a double-lipped EPDM rubber seal, which guarantees the tightness of ducts C and D. The silencers are suitable for use in low and medium pressure ventilation equipment of small and medium diameters. The maximum air speed is 20 m/s, the maximum operating overpressure is 2000 Pa and the underpressure is 1500 Pa.
SonoUltra
The SonoUltra flexible silencers are designed to reduce noise in ducts of ventilation and air conditioning systems. They are most often used in small commercial or residential heat recovery units. The SonoUltra flexible silencers are fire certified according to EN 13501-1, class A1 and also have high resistance to UV radiation. The 25 mm thick thermal insulation is made of glass fibres, the outer surface is made of laminated aluminum, the connections are made of galvanized sheet metal.
On request, it is possible to supply the silencers with 50 mm thick insulation.
LDC
The LDC silencers are designed for circular ducts, are equipped with 50 mm insulation and rubber seals on the connections. To achieve greater noise attenuation, it is possible to install more silencers in a row. They achieve the greatest attenuation when installing the silencer just behind a fan or bend.
RSA
The RSA silencers are designed for use at temperatures up to 400 °C and are therefore suitable for the AXC axial fans also in fire design or for the AxZent fans. The silencers are equipped with flanges according to Eurovent 1/2 and can be easily installed in front of or behind a fan. The RSA circular silencers effectively dampen the noise transmitted through ducts, see table.
TKU
The TKU coulisse four-sided silencers are duct elements used to dampen the noise propagating in the ventilation ducts from the fans on the suction and discharge side. The TKU silencers are designed for direct mounting in a four-sided duct. To increase the attenuation it is possible to mount two silencers in close succession. The maximum air flow speed between the coulisses is 20 m/s. The silencers can be installed in any position. The operating temperature range is -40 °C to 70 °C. The transported air must not contain solid, sticky, fibrous or aggressive admixtures.
LRCA/LRCB
The LRCA / LRCB silencers are characterized by low installation height. With the silencers it is possible to achieve the tightness class C. They have been tested according to the ISO 7235 standard. At the customer's request, the silencers in various dimensions and materials can be supplied. The LRCA / LRCB four-sided silencers are designed for noise attenuation in circular ducts of air conditioning and ventilation.
The LRCA four-sided silencers with circular connection have mineral wool insulation and a protective tissue to prevent mineral wool from entering the air passing through the silencer. The LRCA silencers achieve high attenuation values, are manufactured in a hygienic design and are cleanable.

OV-R
The OV-R circular wall air transfer attenuation units are designed to reduce the noise transmitted between rooms and to balance the pressure conditions in commercial and residential buildings. The OV-R attenuation units consist of two front covers made of galvanized sheet metal and an acoustic insert. The OV-R attenuation units are painted in RAL 9003 as standard, but can be supplied in any RAL shade on request.
OVX
OVX are wall air transfer attenuation square units designed to reduce transmitted noise between rooms and equalize pressure conditions in commercial and residential buildings. The OVX wall covers consist of two galvanized sheet metal face covers filled with acoustic foam. The OVX transfer units are painted in RAL 9003 as standard, but can be offered in any RAL shade on request.
OLC
The OLC circular sound-attenuating overflow units are designed to reduce noise transmitted between rooms and for installation directly into a wall. The OLC crosstalk silencers consist of two sound-absorbing partitions, which are located opposite each other on both sides of the wall. As an accessory, a perforated middle part OLCZ can be supplied, which can be built into a wall with a thickness of max. 150 mm.
OLR
The OLR four-sided crosstalk silencers are designed to reduce noise transmitted between rooms. The OLR crosstalk silencers consist of two front noise-insulated plates and two perforated middle parts. The OLR silencers can be installed in a wall thickness of 90 to 170 mm.
OV-S
OV-S are wall air transfer attenuation units designed to reduce transmitted noise between rooms and to equalize pressure conditions in commercial and residential buildings. The OV-S sound attenuators consist of two galvanized sheet metal face covers and an acoustic insert. Thanks to their construction, they also ensure light-tightness and a low level of self-generated noise. The OV-S transfer devices are painted in RAL 9003 as standard, but can be offered in any RAL shade on request.
