Backdraft louvre shutters
The gravity louvre shutters are used as a duct termination element installed on the facades of buildings. The gravity louvre shutters prevent the entry of unwanted air and other materials or objects into the HVAC systems when the ventilation is switched off. We supply gravity louvre shutters for circular and four-sided ducts. Gravity louvre shutters made of plastic, aluminum or galvanized according to the customer's requests.

SMS
SMS are stainless steel gravity shutters designed for mounting on house facades, walls or plaster. SMS louvres are made of AISI 304 stainless steel and are also available in RAL 7021 black colour. Mounting screws are included in the package of the shutters. Patent N°: 055410.
SUA
SUA are stainless steel gravity shutters designed for mounting on house facades, walls or plaster. SUA exhaust ventsare equipped with a central moving disc and thus prevent the entry of cold air from the outside environment. SUA backdraft dampers are made of AISI 304 brushed stainless steel and are also available in RAL 7021 black. Mounting screws are included in the package of the gravity dampers. Patent N°: 055410.
PER
The PER gravity louver shutters are made of completely UV-stable plastic. The PER louver shutters are available in sizes 100 and 125 mm in white or brown and with a gutter. Larger dimensions from 160 mm are available in grey (RAL 7045). The PER gravity dampers are supplied with a dividing partition from the size of 560 mm.
ALFA
ALFA are square design stainless steel ventilation grilles designed for air extraction especially from high-capacity kitchen hoods and fans, for mounting on house facades, walls or plaster. The ALFA ventilation grilles are designed for higher airflows and feature a design horizontally curved front grille with a dripcatcher and an insulated non-return damper with circular connection. BETA
BETA are square design stainless steel ventilation grilles designed for air extraction especially from high-capacity kitchen hoods and fans, for mounting on house facades, walls or plaster. The BETA ventilation grilles are designed for higher airflows and feature a design front grille with a dripcatcher and an insulated non-return damper with circular connection. DELTA
DELTA are square design stainless steel ventilation grilles designed for air extraction especially from high-capacity kitchen hoods and fans, for mounting on house facades, walls or plaster. The DELTA ventilation grilles are designed for higher airflows and feature a design vertically curved front grille with a dripcatcher and an insulated non-return damper with circular connection. KAPPA
Kappa are stainless steel design gravity shutters designed for mounting on house facades, walls or plaster, for air extraction especially from high-capacity hoods and fans. The Kappa overpressure dampers with circular connections are insulated and tight, designed for higher pressure fan applications. The Kappa residential shutters feature a unique patented design.
The square grille plate is fitted with a circular outdoor shutter, a wind and rainwater canopy, a dripcatcher and the sizes 125 and 150 also with a secondary insulated butterfly damper in the circular spigot in the wall. This combination of non-return dampers and insulation ensures a high airtightness of the duct as well as a reduction in heat loss after automatic damper closure. SIGMA
Sigma are stainless steel design gravity shutters designed for mounting on house facades, walls or plaster, for air extraction especially from high-capacity hoods and fans. The Sigma louvre shutters with circular connections are insulated and tight, designed for higher pressure fan applications and recessed mounting. The Sigma residential shutters feature a unique patented design.
The square grille plate is fitted with two louvres, a dripcatcher and a secondary insulated butterfly damper in the circular spigot in the wall. This combination of non-return dampers and insulation ensures a high airtightness of the duct as well as a reduction in heat loss after automatic damper closure. VK
The VK automatic louver shutters are designed for surface mounting on an outer wall to terminate circular ducts. The VK overpressure louver shutters have profiled blades and work very well even at low air speeds. The overpressure louver shutters VK are made of polyamide material resistant to weather conditions and ultraviolet radiation. Maximum air speed is 12 m/s.
PK
The PK pressure louvre dampers are end ventilation elements designed for automatic closing of rectangular ventilation ducts or for automatic overpressure ventilation through a wall. When the fan stops, the damper closes automatically, thus preventing backflow of air, rain, dust and insects into the rectangular ducts. The PK pressure shutters are designed for outdoor installation, the operating temperature range is -30 °C to 60 °C. Maximum air speed is 6 m/s.
IVK
The IVK louvre back draft shutters are designed for installation in four-sided ducts or directly on a wall. When the fan is switched off, the shutter closes automatically and thus prevents air backflow. The IVK louvre shutters are made of grey plastic and in larger sizes are divided in the middle by a fixed strut. Maximum air speed 16 m/s.
IRK
The IRK / IRKS gravity louvre dampers are designed for installation in four-sided ducts or for wall mounting. The IRK / IRKS louver dampers have a frame made of galvanized sheet metal and gravity blades made of Al sheet metal (IRK) or galvanized (IRKS). When the fan is switched off, the shutter closes automatically, thus preventing air backflow. The IRK / IRKS gravity dampers are designed for a maximum air speed of 7 m/s and for larger sizes they are divided in the middle by a fixed strut.
TRK
The TRK / TRKS louvre back draft shutters are designed for installation in four-sided ducts or in a wall. The TRK / TRKS louvre shutters have a frame made of galvanized sheet metal and gravity blades made of Al sheet metal (TRK) or galvanized (TRKS). When the fan is switched off, the shutter closes automatically and thus prevents air backflow. The TRK / TRKS shutters are designed for a maximum air speed of 7 m/s.
PAR
The PAR electrically operated shutters are end ventilation elements with the possibility of setting two positions, (open under voltage, closed without voltage). The dampers are made of grey plastic and the actuator is located in the lower part. The PAR shutters are opened by a cable, which is wound by the actuator and at the same time a return spring is tensioned, which closes the damper when the power supply is disconnected. Maximum air speed is specified 3 m/s for inlet, 10 m/s for outlet. Power supply for the actuator: 230V.
PMR
The PMR manually operated louvre shutters are end ventilation elements with the possibility of manual adjustment of the blades to any position. The PMR dampers open with a cable and are made of grey plastic RAL 7035. Maximum air speed is specified 3 m/s for inlet, 10 m/s for outlet.
WSK Ex
The WSK Ex gravity louvre dampers are designed for explosive environments zone 1 and 2. The WSK Ex dampers are made of black plastic resistant to UV radiation. The operating temperature range is -30 to 60 °C. In places exposed to sunlight for a long time, the temperature may exceed 60 °C. Maximum air speed is 10 m/s.
AS Ex
AS Ex are gravity louver dampers designed for explosive environments zone 1 and 2 (gas and air mixtures), 21 and 22 (dust and air mixtures). The AS Ex automatic shutter dampers are made of conductive black plastic. The operating temperature range is -30 to 60 °C. The maximum air velocity is 10 m/s. The dampers are equipped with an attached wire mesh.
AS
AS are gravity louvre dampers designed to prevent air from flowing back into the ductwork when the HVAC system is not in operation. The AS automatic louvre dampers are made of UV resistant white plastic and are fitted with a zinc protective grille. Maximum ambient temperature 60 °C. From size DN 35 onwards, the AS pressure relief dampers are fitted with a central bar for increased stability.
UL
UL are gravity louvre dampers designed to prevent air backflow when the HVAC system is not in operation. The UL pressure relief dampers are available in standard sizes as well as many intermediate sizes. The angled profile edge is installed in wall penetrations. A mounting frame can be supplied as an optional accessory. The dampers can also be powder coated. The UL non-return dampers are equipped with aluminium sheets which are fitted with a noise-proof seal.

ARK2
ARK2 are non-return pressure relief dampers designed to prevent air backflow in pressure systems, gas fire fighting systems or transformer substations. The blades of the ARK2 gravity louvre dampers for square ducts are made of AlMg3, which is resistant to salt water. They open when the maximum pressure difference is exceeded, which can be set between 50 and 1000 Pa. The damper body is made of galvanized steel. Tightness according to EN 1751, class 4.
The structure is temperature resistant up to 80 °C and requires no maintenance. A mounting frame can be supplied as an optional accessory. The dampers can also be powder-coated, stainless steel or temperature-resistant up to 200 °C.

KUL
