The COR air curtains are used to reduce cold air penetration and reduce warm air leakage from buildings. The efficiency of the system increases or decreases depending on the type of curtains used and to the overall installation conditions in the building. The general effect of the air curtains is to reduce the heat losses due to the open door. The COR series curtains are designed for permanent installation above entrances and doors up to a height of 3 m, the minimum placement height is 1,8 m. The efficiency of the curtain depends on the pressure conditions in the door. Housing The door curtain housing is made of sheet steel, powder-coated in white RAL 9003. The connecting elements are also galvanically plated. Motor The air curtain is equipped with an asynchronous squirrel-cage motor. Speed control Speed control for the air curtains with water heating is performed using the CR-W wall controller, which is included. The control set is supplied separately. The controller can be used to switch the speed in three stages. The MiniReg control set provides constant temperature control of the heater, frost protection and overrun timing. The curtains allow the connection of a door contact for automatic operation (must be purchased separately). If several air curtains are lined up side by side, it is possible to connect up to 5 curtains of the same type to one controller. Noise level All models of the air curtains are characterized by low noise levels thanks to a balanced impeller. The noise level is given by the value of the sound pressure measured at a distance of 1.5 m in free space. Installation The COR air curtains can be mounted directly on a wall or hung on the ceiling using M8 threaded rods. The minimum height should be 1.8 m and the maximum 3 m above the floor. Distances between the air curtain and the ceiling and side walls must be at least 0.1 m. Shorter distances to building structures are not permitted by the manufacturer. - Additional Information
