The air curtains of the COR series are designed for permanent installation above the entrances and doors up to a height of 3 m. The minimum installation height is 2.5 m. The efficiency of the curtain depends on the pressure conditions in the door. The curtains are supplied with or without heating and are mounted above a door. The curtains must cover the entire width of the opening. The air is drawn in from the front of the curtain and is exhaled downwards, blocking the door opening and minimizing heat loss. If you need to cover a larger width of the door opening, it is possible to use more curtains next to each other. The negative pressure in the building significantly reduces the efficiency of the air curtain, so it is necessary to ensure constant pressure ventilation! The air flow rate and heating are controlled, depending on the type, in two or three stages on the controller. Housing The housing is made of galvanized sheet steel. The visible grille is powder-coated (white, black or natural anodised) or can be supplied in any RAL shade on request. Motor The fan motor is asynchronous with squirrel-cage. Special silent tangential fans are used in the air curtains. Noise level All models have a low noise level thanks to the balanced impeller. The individual data are given in the table and represent the sound pressure at a distance of 3 m in free space. Installation The COR air curtain can be mounted directly on a wall or hung on a ceiling using M8 threaded rods. The minimum height should be 2.5 m and the maximum 3 m above the floor. Distances between the door curtain, the ceiling and side walls must be at least 0.1 m. Shorter distances to building structures are not permitted by the manufacturer. - Additional Information
